__Howard Wiley presents a musical trip through the 20thcentury, exploring the impact of black music on American culture. Wiley and guest speaker and ethnomusicologist Daniel Atkinson (of the Angola Project and Smithsonian Institute) explore the songs and styles that influenced and grew out of the the major social movements of the last 100 years in this combination performance and lecture in celebration of Black History Month.
